Hamilton Joes start home schedule tonight
HAMILTON ― The Hamilton Joes begin their home schedule tonight, Tuesday, June 14. Their record gives the squad a boost of confidence as the Joes take on the Cincinnati Steam at 7:05 p.m. at Foundation Field. “We’ve practiced hard in getting to this point,” said Hamilton coach Darrel Grissom, whose Joes are 2-0 after winning their first two games against the Lexington Hustlers (5-0) on Saturday and the Lima Locos (8-2) on Monday.

The Joes tallied four runs in the fourth and another four in the fifth to put Monday’s contest against the Locos out of reach.
On Monday, Marcus Davis and Zach Willis each collected two hits for the Joes, who got great pitching performances from Matt Marks berry (1-0) and Tyler Jordan. Billy Rumpke added two RBIs.
Probable starting pitchers for tonight’s game are Hamilton’s Patrick Curtain and Cincinnati’s Nathan Ellis. The Steam also claim a 2-0 record.
